I am an accredited Journey Practitioner and Visionary Leadership Coach. I discovered this work in 2006 and these simple, yet powerful techniques have changed the course of my life. I have a Social Work background and knew from an early age that I loved working with people. I thought when I was younger that I wanted to “help” people. I was looking outside myself to other people and things, to find my validation and answers to life’s questions, and lost track of who I was in the process. As a result I suffered both physically and emotionally. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and my body was rapidly deteriorating due to the damage of the disease and the medications needed to treat and control the disease.
When I discovered the area of personal growth and self-discovery, I knew that I had found my passion and as I began doing my own inner work and re-discovering who I was and my true value, I learned that I can only help and change myself. With this realization came a knowing, that I can then offer guidance to others who wish to make changes in their own life. We each have our own inner wisdom and guidance and when we tap into that, we can access our hearts desire and priceless value.
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity over the past few years to travel across Canada to support the presenters of the Journey and Visionary Leadership. I have had the most heart-opening experiences with the people who are also hungry to find truth and live their life as their authentic self. This is true of all people from Labrador to British Columbia and all points in between. I have learned that regardless of our background or our chosen path in life, we are all the same.
Other than the love of this work, I also love the time I share with family and friends and spending time in nature, walking, camping and hiking. Nature represents the stillness that is within and allows me to rest in this part of me that is always there, yet sometimes forgotten. I could spend hours gazing at the sky either night or day at cloud formations and the sun, moon and stars to remind me of the expansiveness of all that is on offer to me in this life I have been given.
I am so honoured to be invited to be a part of this Nightly Healing family and to share with each of you some of the tools and techniques that have brought me both physical and emotional healing as well as a new direction to my life. My intention is to offer a warm embrace, within which you feel comfortable enough to relax and take time for yourself and enjoy a few moments of stillness and self-reflection.
